Paul Ferman was born in Stockholm, Sweden. When he was 9, his family settled in Bremerton, where they have lived since. Paul attended Gonzaga University, where he earned a degree in English Literature. After college, he worked at and eventually managed the Boat Shed Restaurant, a local landmark, while earning a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Old Dominion University. After teaching for a year, Paul moved with his wife to Virginia to attend Law School at George Mason University. Paul graduated with honors, with a concentration in litigation. After practicing for 2 ½ years in Virginia on a variety of cases, Paul moved back home to Bremerton with his wife and children to be closer to family. Following several months of internship, he took an Associate position with Hall & West in September 2015 and became a partner in the firm effective January 2016. He currently practices primarily in Real Property, Wills and Estate Planning, Probate, Business/Corporations, and Contracts under the mentorship of his decades-experienced partner, Larry Hall.
Paul is a board member of Saint Joseph's Mission Fund, a charity that helps the poorest of the poor in India. He is also an avid bridge player and a former state chess champion.
